Mostafa Elshazly
Dr. Mostafa Elshazly is a corporate senior legal counsel with 15+ years of experience in energy, mining, and oil & gas projects. His area of expertise spans strategic legal advisory, contracts negotiation and drafting, corporate law, legal due diligence, alternative dispute resolution, and advising government entities on natural resources management and policy development.
He previously held roles at Zaki Hashem & Partners Law Firm, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation. He holds a Ph.D. in Commercial Law from Cairo University and an LL.B. from Alexandria University. He also earned a professional diploma in Oil, Gas, and Energy Management from Tulane University (USA) and OGS Egypt.
Dr. Elshazly lectures on energy, commercial, and arbitration law at Cairo University and other institutions. He’s a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) and fluent in Arabic and English.
