Internship Description
Bowmans Kenya is accepting applications for its 2026 Pupillage Programme. This 12-month structured programme offers recent law graduates the opportunity to gain practical legal training under experienced advocates across multiple practice areas including banking & finance, corporate, dispute resolution, real estate, and employment law. Pupils rotate through departments and receive mentorship from senior associates and partners.
Responsibilities
Assist advocates in legal research and drafting of pleadings and opinions. Attend court proceedings and tribunals. Participate in client meetings under supervision. Rotate through Banking & Finance, Corporate M&A, Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, and Employment law departments.
Requirements
LLB degree from a recognized Kenyan university (University of Nairobi, Strathmore, Moi, JKUAT, or equivalent). Must have completed the Kenya School of Law (KSL) Advocates Training Programme or be in final year. Strong academic record with minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division).
