1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to LegalAlphabet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LegalAlphabet website (legalalphabet.com) and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by LegalAlphabet ("we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
Important liability and paid-service notice
LegalAlphabet is an information and workflow platform. We are not a law firm, legal adviser, recruiter, employer, staffing agency, immigration adviser, financial adviser, or background-check provider.
Paid access, paid membership, employer subscriptions, resume reviews, job posting services, support, alerts, profile features, or any other paid feature only provide access to the relevant LegalAlphabet service. They do not guarantee any job, internship, interview, offer, hire, candidate quality, candidate volume, employer response, salary, revenue, licensing result, immigration result, legal result, or other outcome.
We reserve the right to update and change these Terms by posting updates and changes to the LegalAlphabet website. You are advised to check the Terms from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you.

Listings, sources, and user responsibility
Job and internship listings, company profiles, salaries, deadlines, locations, eligibility criteria, application links, and other opportunity details may be employer-submitted, user-submitted, admin-curated, imported, aggregated, or otherwise sourced from third parties. We do not independently verify every listing or every change made by an employer or source.
- Listings may be inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, expired, changed, withdrawn, or no longer available.
- You are responsible for verifying every opportunity directly with the employer or official source before relying on it, applying, paying, relocating, resigning, sharing personal information, or making any decision.
- We may edit, quarantine, remove, reject, close, or delete listings, reports, accounts, applications, or content at our discretion, including when we believe a listing is inaccurate, disputed, risky, unlawful, stale, or harmful to users.

Our Content
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LegalAlphabet and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.
7. Payments and Fees
Some features of our Service may require payment. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of paid features.
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law
- Prices may change with advance notice
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes
- We use secure third-party payment processors
No paid outcome guarantee
Candidate memberships, subscriptions, resume reviews, verified member features, applications, saved jobs, alerts, employer subscriptions, job posting services, candidate access, applicant dashboards, and other paid tools are access and service features only. They do not guarantee:
- that a listing is still open, accurate, lawful, complete, or suitable for you;
- that an employer will receive, review, acknowledge, respond to, interview, shortlist, or hire you;
- that an employer will receive a minimum number or quality of applicants, interviews, hires, revenue, or business results;
- that a resume review, profile, application, alert, or platform feature will create any employment, career, legal, immigration, licensing, financial, or professional result.
Subscriptions may renew until cancelled. Cancellation stops future access or renewal charges according to the applicable plan and payment processor flow, but it does not automatically refund prior charges. Payment processing may be handled by Dodo Payments or another third-party processor, and you may also be subject to that processor's terms.
By starting checkout, completing payment, renewing, or continuing to use a paid feature, you confirm that you understand these paid-service limits and agree that LegalAlphabet is not responsible for the outcome of your job search, hiring process, application process, employer communications, candidate pipeline, or reliance on any listing.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, current, accurate, complete, lawful, suitable, secure, or free from harmful components. We make no guarantees about job placements, internships, employment outcomes, employer responses, candidate outcomes, applicant volume, candidate quality, hires, revenue, professional results, legal outcomes, licensing outcomes, immigration outcomes, or any other result.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LegalAlphabet disclaims responsibility for losses, disputes, claims, investigations, chargebacks, employment decisions, rejected applications, missed deadlines, inaccurate listings, stale links, third-party conduct, user conduct, employer conduct, candidate conduct, account misuse, external websites, payment processor issues, and decisions you make based on the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall LegalAlphabet, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LegalAlphabet's total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other theory, will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to LegalAlphabet for the Service during the three months before the claim arose or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LegalAlphabet, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, partners, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your use of the Service, your content, your listings, your applications, your hiring or employment decisions, your communications with other users, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
