You must pass the Legal Practitioners' Qualifying Examination, conducted by the Justice Training Centre and moderated by the Board for Legal Education, and obtain the Board's certificates. Finally, you apply to the High Court of Namibia for admission under the Legal Practitioners Act 15 of 1995; the Law Society of Namibia regulates the profession and all enrolled practitioners must be members.

The Law Society of Namibia (the professional body of which all enrolled legal practitioners must be members) together with the Board for Legal Education (a statutory body that registers candidate legal practitioners, approves the postgraduate syllabus, and sets, moderates and issues certificates for the qualifying examination); admission is granted by the High Court of Namibia under the Legal Practitioners Act 15 of 1995.
