Job Description
Equity Bank, one of East Africa's largest banking groups, seeks an Employment Law Specialist to manage labor relations, employee disputes, and HR compliance across its Kenya operations with over 8,000 employees.
Responsibilities
Advise on employment contracts, terminations, and redundancy procedures. Handle employee disputes and ELRC proceedings. Ensure compliance with NSSF, NHIF, and housing levy requirements. Draft HR policies and employee handbooks.
Requirements
LLB degree. 4+ years experience in employment/labor law. Knowledge of the Employment Act 2007, Labour Relations Act, and OSHA. Experience managing large-scale employee relations.
