Land Transaction Lead

About the Role

Victory Farms is seeking a Land Transaction Lead to manage all land-related legal matters for East Africas largest aquaculture operation. Based in Homa Bay on the shores of Lake Victoria, this role manages the companys growing land portfolio, handling transfers, subdivisions, and community land issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and verify company title deeds, leases, and land records
• Lead land transfers, successions, subdivisions, leases, and registrations
• Track parcel status across the companys expanding land portfolio
• Identify and resolve missing titles, registry inconsistencies, and encroachments
• Ensure all developments are on properly titled land with valid legal rights
• Support negotiations with landowners and community representatives
• Interface with lands registries, surveyors, valuers, and county offices
• Support farm-level disputes, labor issues, and regulatory inspections

• Manage company title deeds, leases, and land records
• Lead land transfers, successions, subdivisions
• Track parcel status across land bank
• Resolve missing titles and registry inconsistencies
• Map infrastructure to parcel numbers
• Ensure developments have proper legal rights
• Negotiate with landowners and community
• Interface with registries and county offices

• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya OR LLB with strong conveyancing background
• Minimum 3 years experience in conveyancing, land law, registries, and succession
• Proven hands-on experience with land transfers, subdivisions, title regularization
• Familiarity with rural land operations and county government processes
• Strong organizational and document control skills
• Ability to work in rural environment (Homa Bay)
