Job Description

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is recruiting Research Officers to analyze court cases and unconstitutional legislation, conduct intensive legal research, prepare law digests, implement multidisciplinary research approaches to inform prosecution practice, and collect authorities on criminal law matters.

Responsibilities

Analyze court cases and identify unconstitutional legislation. Conduct intensive legal research for prosecution cases. Prepare law digests and legal reference materials. Implement multidisciplinary research approaches to inform prosecution practice. Collect and organize legal authorities on criminal law. Support prosecutors with research-based legal analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Science, Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, or related field. Membership in a relevant professional body. Competence in MS Office and statistical packages (SPSS). Must meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements.
