Job Description
MRA seeks a Senior Tax Counsel to lead legal advisory on tax policy reform, international tax treaties and complex enforcement matters. Based in Blantyre with travel to Lilongwe for parliamentary and policy engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead litigation strategy for high-value tax disputes
- Advise the Commissioner General on legislative reform and tax treaties
- Coordinate with ATAF and SADC on regional tax matters
- Supervise a team of 4 legal officers
Requirements
- LLB plus LLM in tax or international law
- Minimum 7 years in tax law or public sector legal advisory
- Track record in complex litigation
