Job Description
Savjani & Co is looking for an Associate to strengthen its Banking and Finance team in Blantyre. You will advise commercial banks, microfinance institutions and development finance organisations on lending documentation, regulatory compliance and structured finance transactions under Malawian law.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review facility agreements, security documents and guarantees
- Advise on Reserve Bank of Malawi regulatory requirements
- Handle charge registrations with the Registrar General
- Support syndicated loan transactions and project finance deals
Requirements
- LLB; admitted by the Malawi Law Society
- 2–4 years experience in banking or commercial law
- Knowledge of the Banking Act and Financial Services Act
