Job Description
Construction & Real Estate Lawyer in Linz — CMS Austria
CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz is looking for a Construction & Real Estate Lawyer to serve clients in the Linz and Upper Austria region. As Austria's industrial heartland, Upper Austria offers a dynamic real estate and construction law practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on construction projects, including FIDIC and ÖNORM B 2110 contracts
- Handle construction disputes, delay claims, and defect proceedings
- Advise on real estate development, zoning law, and building permits in Upper Austria
- Support commercial lease negotiations and property acquisitions
- Coordinate with CMS offices across Austria and internationally
Requirements
- Austrian legal qualification with 3-5 years of construction or real estate law experience
- Knowledge of Austrian construction law (ÖNORM standards, Bauordnung OÖ)
- Experience with construction dispute resolution is a plus
- Willingness to be based in or frequently travel to Linz
- Fluent in German and English
