Corporate Associate — Mergers & Acquisitions
Position Overview
Job Description
K-Solutions & Partners (ALN Rwanda) is looking for a Corporate Associate to join its Mergers and Acquisitions team in Kigali. You will work on domestic and cross-border transactions for multinational corporations, financial institutions and private equity funds investing in Rwanda and the East African Community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support M&A transaction execution including due diligence and document drafting
- Prepare share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and related documents
- Advise on Competition and Consumer Protection Act requirements
- Liaise with the Rwanda Development Board on investment approvals
- Research regulatory frameworks across EAC member states
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised university
- Admitted by the Rwanda Bar Association
- ILPD professional course completed
- 2-4 years corporate or commercial law experience
- Bilingual English/French preferred
