Job Description
Corporate/M&A Rechtsanwalt at Schoenherr
Schoenherr Rechtsanwälte, one of the leading law firms in Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking an experienced Corporate/M&A Rechtsanwalt to join our Vienna headquarters. You will work on high-profile cross-border transactions across the CEE region.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on complex mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings across Austria and CEE markets
- Draft and negotiate transaction documentation including share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, and corporate resolutions
- Conduct legal due diligence for domestic and cross-border transactions
- Coordinate with international counsel and manage multi-jurisdictional deal teams
- Advise on Austrian corporate law, including GmbH-Gesetz and Aktiengesetz matters
Requirements
- Admitted as Rechtsanwalt in Austria or completed Konzipientenzeit
- 5-7 years of experience in Corporate/M&A at a leading Austrian or international law firm
- Strong knowledge of Austrian corporate law and EU regulatory frameworks
- Excellent command of German and English (additional CEE languages are an asset)
- University degree in law (Mag. jur. or equivalent)
