Job Description
Legal Counsel — Cross-Border Transactions at Raiffeisen Bank International
Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI), a leading banking group in Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking a Legal Counsel to support cross-border banking transactions and structured finance deals from our Vienna headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on cross-border lending, trade finance, and structured finance transactions across 13 CEE markets
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security documentation, and ISDA master agreements
- Provide legal support for syndicated loans, project finance, and export credit agency financings
- Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate cross-border legal opinions
- Advise on sanctions compliance, AML regulations, and KYC requirements for international transactions
Requirements
- Austrian legal qualification with 5-7 years of banking/finance law experience
- Experience with cross-border financing transactions, preferably in CEE markets
- Familiarity with LMA documentation standards and international banking practices
- Strong knowledge of Austrian and EU banking regulations
- Fluent in German and English; CEE languages are a significant advantage
