Job Description
SEBI is seeking a Legal Officer to join its Legal Affairs Department at the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The role involves enforcement proceedings, adjudication support and regulatory drafting for India's capital markets regulator.
Responsibilities
- Handle enforcement and adjudication proceedings under SEBI Act
- Draft show cause notices, orders and settlement proposals
- Represent SEBI before SAT and courts
- Review and draft SEBI regulations and circulars
Requirements
- LLB; LLM in securities or corporate law preferred
- 3–5 years in securities law, regulatory work or capital markets practice
- Knowledge of SEBI Act, SCRA and SEBI regulations
