Job Description

Junior Associate — Corporate & Commercial at ENSafrica Uganda

ENSafrica, Africa's largest law firm, is seeking a Junior Associate for its Kampala office's Corporate and Commercial practice. The role offers an excellent platform for early-career lawyers to develop their expertise in corporate transactions within a Pan-African firm.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in corporate transactions including company formations, share transfers, and restructurings
  • Draft corporate documents, board resolutions, and shareholder agreements
  • Conduct company searches and regulatory filings at URSB
  • Support due diligence exercises for transactions
  • Research Ugandan corporate and commercial law
  • Prepare legal opinions and client advisories

Requirements

  • LLB degree from a recognized university
  • Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
  • Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
  • 1-2 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Good academic record
