Job Description
Competition & Antitrust Senior Associate at DORDA
DORDA Rechtsanwälte, consistently ranked as Austria's top competition law practice, is seeking a Senior Associate to strengthen our market-leading Competition & Antitrust team in Vienna.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on Austrian and EU competition law, including merger control notifications to the BWB and European Commission
- Represent clients in cartel investigations and dawn raids by the Bundeswettbewerbsbehörde
- Conduct competition compliance audits and develop antitrust compliance programs
- Advise on state aid, public procurement, and EU trade regulation matters
- Draft and review distribution agreements, licensing arrangements, and joint venture agreements for antitrust compliance
Requirements
- Admitted Rechtsanwalt or Rechtsanwaltsanwärter with substantial competition law experience
- 8+ years of Austrian and/or EU competition law experience
- Track record in merger control proceedings and cartel investigations
- Fluent in German and English; additional EU languages are advantageous
- Mag. jur., LL.M. (preferably in EU/Competition Law) desirable
