Job Description
Rechtsanwaltsanwärter/in — Corporate & M&A at Cerha Hempel
Cerha Hempel is offering a Konzipientenstelle (Rechtsanwaltsanwärter position) in our Corporate & M&A practice in Vienna. This is an ideal position for a recently qualified lawyer looking to begin their Konzipientenzeit at a leading Central European firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Support partners and associates on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, and private equity deals
- Conduct legal research on Austrian corporate law, including AktG, GmbHG, and UmwG
- Assist with due diligence reviews and preparation of transaction documentation
- Draft corporate resolutions, shareholder agreements, and board minutes
- Attend client meetings and contribute to business development activities
Requirements
- Completed Austrian legal studies (Mag. jur. or equivalent) with excellent academic results
- Completed or currently completing Gerichtspraxis (court internship)
- Strong interest in Corporate/M&A law and transactional work
- Fluent in German and English
- Detail-oriented, team player with strong analytical skills
