About the Internship
Ali Sharif Zu bi Advocates & Legal Consultants offers a paid legal internship in the Corporate and M&A department at their Amman headquarters. This is a 3-month structured training programme designed for final-year law students and recent graduates who want to gain practical experience at one of Jordan s most prestigious law firms.
What You Will Learn
- Assist senior lawyers with due diligence on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring transactions
- Draft and review basic corporate documents including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and memoranda of association
- Attend client meetings and observe transaction negotiations alongside senior partners
- Conduct legal research on Jordanian Companies Law, the Securities Law, and Investment Law
- Assist with company formation filings at the Companies Control Department and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply
- Receive mentorship from experienced lawyers and participate in weekly training sessions on corporate law topics
Eligibility
- Final-year LLB students or recent graduates from a recognised Jordanian law faculty (University of Jordan, Yarmouk, JUST, or equivalent)
- Strong academic record with interest in corporate and commercial law
- Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken
- Duration: 3 months, full-time
- Compensation: Paid internship at JOD 300-400 per month stipend
- Start date: Flexible, with intake every quarter
