Internship Description
King & Wood Mallesons invites applications for its 2026 Graduate Program in Sydney. This is a paid 2-year structured programme with 4 rotations across practice areas including Corporate, Disputes, Banking & Finance, and Projects. Graduates receive full PLT support and a competitive salary.
Programme Details
- Duration: 2 years (4 x 6-month rotations)
- Compensation: Paid — AUD 7,500/month (competitive graduate salary)

- Eligibility: Final-year LLB or JD students from Australian universities
- PLT: Firm-sponsored Practical Legal Training through the College of Law or Leo Cussen
What You Will Do
- Rotate through 4 practice groups gaining exposure to different areas of law
- Work directly with partners and senior associates on real client matters
- Complete your PLT and apply for admission as a solicitor
- Participate in KWM's global graduate exchange programme
Requirements
- Penultimate or final-year LLB or JD student at an Australian university
- Strong academic record (credit average or above)
- Previous clerkship at KWM or another leading firm preferred but not essential
