Position Overview
Job Description
Linklaters Germany is seeking an Associate to join our Capital Markets team in Frankfurt, one of Europe's leading financial centers. You will advise investment banks, issuers, and financial institutions on equity and debt capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, bond offerings, and structured finance.
Responsibilities
- Advise on equity capital markets transactions including IPOs and secondary offerings
- Draft prospectuses and offering documents under EU Prospectus Regulation and German WpPG
- Advise on debt issuances, Schuldscheindarlehen, and structured products
- Coordinate with regulators including BaFin and stock exchanges
- Prepare legal opinions and disclosure documents
- Work in cross-border teams with Linklaters offices worldwide
Requirements
- Zweites Staatsexamen with Praedikatsexamen (9+ points preferred)
- 1-4 years of post-qualification experience in capital markets or corporate law
- Admitted as Rechtsanwalt in Germany
- Knowledge of WpHG, WpPG, MAR, and German securities regulation
- Excellent English drafting skills
- Fluent in German and English
- LL.M. from a US or UK university is advantageous
