Corporate Compliance Manager — San Miguel Corporation
San Miguel Corporation (SMC), the Philippines' largest and most diversified conglomerate, is seeking a Corporate Compliance Manager to join its Legal and Compliance Division in Mandaluyong City. The role involves developing and overseeing compliance programs across SMC's diverse business units spanning food and beverages, energy, infrastructure, and oil refining.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corporate compliance programs, policies, and standard operating procedures across SMC subsidiaries
- Monitor regulatory changes from the SEC, BSP, Department of Energy, and industry-specific regulators
- Manage compliance with the Revised Corporation Code (RA 11232), anti-corruption laws, and corporate governance standards
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and due diligence reviews for new business ventures
- Prepare compliance reports for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee
- Coordinate with external counsel on regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
- Implement whistleblower protection programs and ethics hotlines

Requirements
- Admitted to the Philippine Bar with active IBP membership
- 6-10 years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, or corporate governance
- Strong knowledge of the Revised Corporation Code (RA 11232), SEC regulations, and corporate governance best practices
- Experience with compliance program development in a large conglomerate or multinational corporation
- J.D. or LL.B. from a recognized Philippine law school; MBA or compliance certifications (CCEP) are advantages
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
