Job Description

CRDB Bank Plc, one of Tanzania's largest commercial banks, seeks a Legal Manager to lead its Commercial Banking legal function. The role involves managing the legal aspects of corporate lending, trade finance, structured finance transactions, and security perfection. The Legal Manager will supervise a team of legal officers and work closely with the credit and risk departments to ensure all facilities comply with BOT regulations.

Requirements

LLB from a recognized university. Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. Minimum 6 years' experience in banking and finance law, preferably in-house at a financial institution. Experience with loan documentation, security instruments (mortgages, debentures, guarantees), and BOT regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and team management skills.
