Position Overview
Job Description
MTN Rwanda, the country's leading telecommunications provider, is recruiting a Manager for its Legal and Regulatory Affairs department. You will manage legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters, with a focus on telecommunications licensing, competition law and data privacy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory engagement with RURA and other government agencies
- Oversee licence compliance and spectrum allocation matters
- Advise on data privacy law, the Personal Data Protection Law of 2021
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with vendors and partners
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution portfolio
Requirements
- LLB degree from a recognised university
- Admitted by the Rwanda Bar Association
- 5+ years legal experience, including 2+ years in telecoms or technology
- Knowledge of RURA regulations and the ICT Law
- Strong leadership and team management skills
