Legal Counsel – Regulatory & Compliance at ING Bank
ING Bank is looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Regulatory & Compliance team in Amsterdam, advising on financial regulation and banking compliance.
About the Role
You will advise business units on compliance with Dutch and EU financial regulations including the Wet op het financieel toezicht (Wft), MiFID II, PSD2, anti-money laundering legislation (Wwft), and sanctions regulations. The role involves liaising with DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank) and AFM (Autoriteit Financiele Markten).
Requirements
- Law degree with specialisation in financial regulatory law
- 4-8 years of experience in financial regulation or banking compliance
- Knowledge of DNB and AFM supervisory frameworks
- Experience with Wwft/AML investigations and reporting
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- CAMS certification is a plus
