Job Description
Surridge & Beecheno seeks an Associate for its Intellectual Property practice in Karachi. The firm handles trademark registrations, patent filings, copyright disputes, and IP enforcement matters before the IPO-Pakistan and courts. The role offers excellent exposure to Pakistan's growing IP landscape.
Responsibilities
Managing trademark and patent prosecution before IPO-Pakistan. Handling IP infringement litigation before civil courts. Advising clients on IP portfolio management and protection strategies. Drafting licensing agreements and technology transfer agreements. Conducting IP due diligence for M&A transactions.
Requirements
LLB from a recognised university. Enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council. 2-4 years PQE with focus on intellectual property law. Experience with IPO-Pakistan trademark and patent procedures. Understanding of TRIPS Agreement compliance in Pakistani context.
