Key Responsibilities

• Advise on trademark, patent, and design registration and enforcement before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT)
• Handle IP litigation before Istanbul Intellectual and Industrial Property Courts
• Draft technology licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, and software development agreements
• Advise on e-commerce regulation under Law No. 6563 on Regulation of Electronic Commerce
• Handle domain name disputes and online brand protection matters
• Advise social media companies and digital platforms on Turkish Internet Law No. 5651 compliance
• Support pharmaceutical companies on regulatory data protection and patent linkage matters

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on trademark, patent, and design registration and enforcement before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT)
• Handle IP litigation before Istanbul Intellectual and Industrial Property Courts

• Advise on e-commerce regulation under Law No. 6563 on Regulation of Electronic Commerce
• Handle domain name disputes and online brand protection matters
• Advise social media companies and digital platforms on Turkish Internet Law No. 5651 compliance
• Support pharmaceutical companies on regulatory data protection and patent linkage matters

• Active avukat license and Istanbul Bar Association membership
• 3-6 years of IP and/or technology law experience
• Knowledge of Industrial Property Law No. 6769, Internet Law No. 5651, and E-Commerce Law No. 6563
• Experience with TURKPATENT registration and opposition proceedings
• LLB from a recognized Turkish university; LLM in IP or technology law is a plus
• Fluent Turkish and English
• Technical understanding of software, digital platforms, and e-commerce is valued
