Job Description
Ritz Attorneys is recruiting an Employment Law Specialist to lead its employment and labour practice across both the Blantyre and Lilongwe offices. You will advise employers on the Employment Act, handle Industrial Relations Court proceedings, and support clients on workforce restructuring and labour compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the Malawi Employment Act, Labour Relations Act and Occupational Safety Act
- Represent employers before the Industrial Relations Court
- Draft employment contracts, HR policies and disciplinary procedures
- Train corporate clients on Malawian labour compliance
Requirements
- LLB; admitted by the Malawi Law Society
- 5+ years in employment or labour law
- Experience appearing before the Industrial Relations Court
