About the Role

Orange Jordan, one of Jordan s leading telecommunications companies, is hiring an In-House Counsel specialising in Employment and Labour Law. You will advise the HR department and management on all employment matters under the Jordanian Labour Law No. 8 of 1996 and Social Security Corporation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Advise management and HR on employment contracts, termination procedures, and disciplinary actions under the Jordanian Labour Law
  • Draft and review employment agreements, non-compete clauses, and confidentiality agreements
  • Represent the company before the Labour Courts and the Ministry of Labour in employment disputes
  • Ensure compliance with Social Security Corporation requirements, occupational health and safety standards, and minimum wage regulations
  • Advise on workplace policies including anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, and employee data protection
  • Support the legal department on general corporate matters and regulatory compliance in the telecommunications sector

Requirements

  • LLB from a recognised Jordanian university; specialisation in labour or employment law preferred
  • Jordan Bar Association membership with 3-5 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Jordanian Labour Law, Social Security Law, and related regulations
  • Experience representing employers before the Labour Courts
  • Fluency in Arabic and English with excellent written communication skills
  • In-house legal experience in a corporate environment is preferred
