Employment Law Partner — Yigal Arnon & Co, Tel Aviv
Yigal Arnon & Co, one of Israel's most prestigious law firms, is seeking an Employment Law Partner to lead and expand its labor and employment practice from the Tel Aviv office. Israel's complex employment law framework and booming technology sector create significant demand for sophisticated employment advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the firm's employment and labor law practice, advising Israeli and multinational clients on all aspects of Israeli labor law
- Advise on complex terminations, severance pay calculations, and National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi) obligations
- Handle collective and individual employment disputes before the National Labor Court (Beit Din Artzi LaAvoda) and Regional Labor Courts
- Advise high-tech companies on Section 102 equity compensation plans, employee option pools, and M&A employment issues
- Draft and negotiate employment agreements, non-compete clauses (limited enforceability under Israeli law), and executive compensation packages
- Advise on workforce restructurings, mass layoffs under the Collective Dismissals Law, and transfer of undertakings
- Develop client relationships and originate new employment law mandates for the firm

Requirements
- Israel Bar Association membership with 12+ years of active practice
- Recognized expertise in Israeli employment and labor law with existing client relationships
- Deep knowledge of the Employment Law framework including Hours of Work and Rest Law, Annual Leave Law, Sick Pay Law, and collective agreements
- Experience with National Labor Court litigation and alternative dispute resolution
- LLB from a top Israeli law faculty; advanced degree or teaching experience is valued
- Native Hebrew and fluent English
- Portable book of business or demonstrable ability to generate new clients
