Position Overview
Job Description
The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is seeking a Legal Advisor for its Investment and Business Registration division. You will provide legal guidance on investment facilitation, business registration and regulatory compliance to support Rwanda's private sector growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the Investment Code and business registration processes
- Review and draft investment agreements and incentive packages
- Support the One Stop Centre for business and investment registration
- Liaise with investors and their legal counsel on regulatory requirements
- Research international best practices in investment law
Requirements
- LLB degree; LLM in Commercial or Investment Law preferred
- Admitted by the Rwanda Bar Association
- 3-5 years experience in investment, corporate or commercial law
- Knowledge of the Rwanda Investment Code and Companies Act
- Bilingual English/French; Kinyarwanda an advantage
