Job Description

BLOM Bank seeks a Legal Risk Analyst to strengthen its risk management function. This role bridges legal analysis and risk assessment, focusing on identifying and mitigating legal risks across the bank's operations in an evolving Lebanese regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

Assess legal risks associated with the bank's products, services, and operations. Prepare legal risk reports for senior management and the risk committee. Monitor changes in Lebanese banking regulations and assess their impact. Review new products and services for legal risk implications. Collaborate with compliance and audit teams on risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Licence en Droit or degree in law and finance. 2-4 years of experience in legal risk analysis, compliance, or banking regulation. Knowledge of Basel III requirements and their application in Lebanon. Familiarity with BDL circulars on risk management and capital adequacy. Fluency in Arabic and English; French preferred.
