Job Description

Baker McKenzie's Bangkok office is seeking a PDPA & Data Privacy Lawyer to advise clients on compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and cross-border data transfer regulations. You will draft data processing agreements, privacy policies, and consent mechanisms. The role involves conducting data protection impact assessments, advising on data breach notification requirements, and assisting multinational clients with PDPA compliance programs across their Thai operations. You will also advise on cybersecurity regulations and the Computer Crime Act.

Responsibilities

Baker McKenzie's Bangkok office is seeking a PDPA & Data Privacy Lawyer to advise clients on compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and cross-border data transfer regulations. You will draft data processing agreements, privacy policies, and consent mechanisms. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of data privacy or technology law experience. Thai Lawyers Council license required. Strong knowledge of the PDPA B.E. 2562, subordinate regulations, and PDPC guidelines. Familiarity with GDPR and cross-border data transfer mechanisms. Experience with DPIA and privacy compliance programs. Fluent in Thai and English.
