Becario — Banking & Finance (Prácticas 6 meses)

Clifford Chance's Madrid office is offering a 6-month Becario position in its Banking & Finance practice on Paseo de la Castellana. This is an exceptional opportunity for graduates completing their Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía to experience cross-border banking transactions at a Magic Circle firm, gaining exposure to leveraged finance, restructurings, and syndicated lending at the highest level.

What You Will Do

• Assist on drafting and reviewing facility agreements, security packages, and ancillary banking documentation
• Research Spanish banking regulation: Ley 10/2014, Ley Concursal, and Banco de España circulars
• Support due diligence on Spanish security interests (hipotecas, prendas sin desplazamiento)
• Prepare condition precedent checklists and closing bibles
• Participate in Clifford Chance's global trainee programme and learning sessions

Eligibility

• Graduado en Derecho from a leading Spanish university (top quartile academic record)
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed the Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía
• Strong English (C1 minimum) — essential for international work
• Interest in banking and financial services law
• Duration: 6 months, full-time, with pathway to Training Contract
