Internship Description
White & Case Prague is offering a Koncipient position in its EU and Competition Law practice. This mandatory 3-year ČAK traineeship combines international law firm training with specialized competition law experience.
Duration: 3 years (ČAK mandatory). Start date: September 2026. Compensation: Paid, CZK 38,000-48,000/month. Eligibility: Mgr. in Czech law; LLM in EU law advantageous.
At White & Case, you will work on cross-border competition matters, merger control filings with ÚOHS and the European Commission, and state aid cases. The firm offers a global secondment opportunity during the koncipient period and comprehensive ČAK exam preparation.
Responsibilities
Support merger control filings with ÚOHS and European Commission. Assist with competition law due diligence for M&A transactions. Research Czech and EU competition case law. Draft competition compliance training materials. Attend ÚOHS hearings with supervising advokát. Complete ČAK education modules and prepare for Advokátní zkouška.
Requirements
Mgr. in Czech law; LLM in EU or competition law advantageous. Strong interest in EU and competition law. Excellent academic record. Availability to start the 3-year koncipient commitment in September 2026. Fluent Czech and English; additional EU language a plus.
