Grupo Nutresa, Colombia's largest food conglomerate, seeks a senior IP lawyer for its headquarters in Medellín. The role involves managing the group's extensive trademark portfolio across 17 countries, patent strategy, trade secret protection, and IP litigation before the SIC (Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio) and Colombian courts.

Grupo Nutresa owns some of Latin America's most iconic food brands. The senior IP lawyer will protect and enforce these brands across the region while advising on licensing, franchise agreements, and domain name disputes. Based in Medellín's corporate district, this role offers exposure to one of Colombia's most admired companies.

• Managing Grupo Nutresa's trademark portfolio across 17 countries
• Prosecuting trademark applications and oppositions before the SIC
• Leading IP enforcement actions including infringement litigation and customs seizures
• Advising on brand licensing, franchising, and co-branding agreements
• Coordinating with external counsel on international trademark matters
• Advising on trade secret protection and employee IP assignment agreements

• Título de Abogado and active Tarjeta Profesional
• 7-10 years of experience in intellectual property law
• Expertise in Colombian trademark prosecution and enforcement before the SIC
• Experience with international trademark portfolios (Madrid Protocol, regional Andean Community regime)
• Knowledge of Decisión 486 de la Comunidad Andina (Andean IP regime)
• English proficiency for international brand protection coordination
