Advogado Sénior — Direito Imobiliário e Urbanismo

PLMJ Advogados is recruiting an Advogado Sénior for its top-ranked Direito Imobiliário e Urbanismo practice at Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo in Lisbon. Portugal's booming real estate market — driven by Golden Visa restructuring, urban rehabilitation, and international investment — demands specialists who can navigate the complexities of Portuguese property law. You will advise real estate funds, international investors, and developers on acquisitions, disposals, urban rehabilitation projects, and REIT (SIGI) structuring.

Principais Responsabilidades

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, and sale-and-leaseback transactions for commercial, residential, and logistics portfolios under the Código Civil and Regime Jurídico da Urbanização e da Edificação (RJUE)
• Structure Portuguese SIGIs (Sociedades de Investimento e Gestão Imobiliária) and real estate investment vehicles under Decreto-Lei n.º 19/2019
• Conduct title searches at the Conservatória do Registo Predial and review Caderneta Predial Urbana records from the Autoridade Tributária
• Advise on urban rehabilitation and Áreas de Reabilitação Urbana (ARUs) under Decreto-Lei n.º 307/2009
• Negotiate commercial and residential lease agreements under the Novo Regime do Arrendamento Urbano (NRAU)

Requisitos

• Licenciatura or Mestrado em Direito; specialisation in Direito Imobiliário preferred
• Inscrito na Ordem dos Advogados; 5-8 years PQE in real estate law
• Strong knowledge of RJUE, NRAU, and Portuguese property registration system
• Fluent English for international investor clients
