Job Description
RIAA Barker Gillette is looking for an Associate to join its Competition Law practice in Islamabad. The firm advises on merger control filings, abuse of dominance proceedings, and cartel investigations before the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). The firm is recognised as a leading competition law practice in the country.
Responsibilities
Advising on merger control notifications and pre-merger filings with CCP. Representing clients in abuse of dominance and cartel investigations. Drafting competition compliance programmes for corporate clients. Advising on competition aspects of M&A transactions and joint ventures. Appearing before CCP and appellate tribunals in competition proceedings.
Requirements
LLB from a recognised university. Enrolled with the Islamabad Bar Council. 2-4 years PQE in competition, antitrust, or regulatory law. Understanding of Competition Act 2010 and CCP procedures. Strong analytical and economic reasoning skills.
