About the Role
The Hellenic Competition Commission (Epitropi Antagonismou) is recruiting a Competition Law Officer to join our investigation team. You will participate in market inquiries, merger reviews, and antitrust enforcement actions under Greek and EU competition law.
Responsibilities
- Conduct economic and legal analysis for merger notifications and antitrust cases
- Participate in dawn raids and on-site inspections of companies suspected of anticompetitive conduct
- Draft investigation reports and decisions for the Commission's plenary sessions
- Monitor compliance with Commission decisions and commitments
- Coordinate with the European Competition Network (ECN) and DG Competition
Requirements
- Greek law degree; postgraduate qualification in competition or EU law preferred
- Active member of a Greek Dikigoritikos Syllogos
- 3-6 years of experience in competition law (private practice or authority)
- Knowledge of Greek Law 3959/2011 and EU competition framework
- Fluent in English and Greek; additional EU language beneficial
