Associate – Construction & Real Estate Law

Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law in Zurich's Seefeld district is seeking an Associate to join its highly regarded Construction and Real Estate practice group.

You will advise on all legal aspects of real estate transactions and construction projects in Switzerland, including property acquisitions subject to the Lex Koller (BewG) foreign ownership restrictions, construction contracts under SIA norms, and landlord-tenant disputes before the Mietgericht and Handelsgericht Zürich.

What You Will Do

• Advise on commercial and residential real estate transactions
• Draft and negotiate construction contracts (SIA 118 and FIDIC-based)
• Handle Lex Koller applications for foreign property acquisitions
• Represent clients in construction disputes and rent tribunal proceedings
• Advise on real estate fund structuring and REGA compliance

• Handle real estate transactions from due diligence to closing
• Draft construction and engineering contracts
• Advise on planning and building permit processes
• Represent clients in construction and tenancy disputes
• Support the firm's real estate investment fund clients

• Swiss Anwaltspatent required
• MLaw from a Swiss university
• 3-6 years of experience in construction, real estate, or property law
• Knowledge of SIA norms (SIA 118), Lex Koller (BewG), and Swiss tenancy law
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience with commercial leases and property due diligence preferred
