ENSafrica, Africa's largest law firm, is looking for an Associate to join its Uganda office's Employment and Labour Law practice. The role involves advising employers on Uganda's labour framework, handling employment disputes, and drafting employment contracts and HR policies.

• Advise clients on employment contracts, terminations, and restructurings
• Draft employment agreements, staff handbooks, and HR policies
• Handle employment disputes including unfair dismissal claims
• Represent clients before the Industrial Court and Labour Office
• Advise on work permits and immigration compliance for expatriate employees
• Conduct employment law compliance audits
• Advise on NSSF and pension-related matters

• LLB degree from a recognized university
• Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
• Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in employment and labour law
• Knowledge of the Employment Act 2006, Labour Unions Act, and Occupational Safety and Health Act
• Experience appearing before the Industrial Court is an advantage
