Job Description

White & Case Prague is recruiting an Associate to join our EU and Competition Law practice. Based in our Prague 1 office, you will advise on Czech and EU antitrust matters, merger control filings with ÚOHS (the Czech competition authority) and the European Commission, and state aid compliance.

This role offers exposure to high-profile competition investigations and cartel defense work. You will collaborate with White & Case offices globally on multi-jurisdictional merger filings and dawn raid preparedness exercises.

Responsibilities

Prepare merger control filings for ÚOHS and the European Commission. Advise on antitrust compliance programs and dawn raid response. Draft leniency applications and settlement submissions. Represent clients in cartel investigations and abuse of dominance proceedings. Conduct competition law due diligence for M&A transactions.

Requirements

ČAK-registered Advokát or qualified lawyer with 3-5 years of competition law experience. Knowledge of Zákon o ochraně hospodářské soutěže (Competition Act) and EU competition regulations. Experience with ÚOHS and European Commission proceedings. Czech, English, and ideally one additional EU language.
