Job Description

RIAA Barker Gillette seeks an Associate for its market-leading Projects & Energy practice in Karachi. The firm advises on Pakistan's largest energy and infrastructure projects, including power generation, LNG terminals, renewable energy, and CPEC-related transactions. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on landmark deals that shape Pakistan's infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

Drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, and concession agreements. Conducting due diligence on energy and infrastructure projects. Advising on NEPRA regulatory requirements and licensing. Assisting with project finance documentation and lender negotiations. Supporting CPEC and special economic zone transactions.

Requirements

LLB from a recognised Pakistani or international university. Enrolled with a Provincial Bar Council. 2-4 years PQE in projects, energy, or infrastructure law. Familiarity with NEPRA regulations, PPIB framework, and project finance documentation. Excellent English drafting skills.
