Job Description
About the Role
Drakopoulos Law Firm is seeking an Energy & Renewables Lawyer to support Greece's booming green energy transition. You will advise on wind farm and solar park developments, energy licensing, and power purchase agreements as Greece becomes a regional renewable energy hub.
Responsibilities
- Advise on energy project licensing, environmental impact assessments, and grid connection agreements
- Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements (PPAs) and EPC contracts
- Handle regulatory matters before the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE)
- Advise on EU energy directives and Greek National Energy and Climate Plan
- Support M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
Requirements
- Greek law degree; specialization in energy or environmental law preferred
- Active member of a Greek Dikigoritikos Syllogos
- 3-5 years of experience in energy, environmental, or project finance law
- Knowledge of Greek Law 4685/2020 (environmental legislation) and energy licensing framework
- Fluent in English; experience with cross-border energy projects desirable
