NMB Bank Plc seeks a Head of Legal to oversee its Corporate & Regulatory Affairs function. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Managing Director, responsible for all legal matters including corporate governance, regulatory compliance (BOT, DSE, and CMSA requirements), litigation management, and providing strategic legal counsel to the Board and Executive Committee. NMB is listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.

Requirements

LLB from a recognized university, LLM strongly preferred. Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. Minimum 10 years' PQE with at least 5 years in a senior legal role at a financial institution. Deep knowledge of the Banking and Financial Institutions Act, Companies Act, Capital Markets and Securities Act, and DSE Listing Rules. Proven leadership experience managing a legal department.
