Position Overview
Job Description
Sauti & Company, Malawi's only Primerus network member firm, is looking for a Junior Associate to join its commercial law practice in Blantyre. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently admitted legal practitioner to gain exposure to cross-border transactions and international-standard commercial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist on corporate transactions, due diligence and commercial contract drafting
- Conduct legal research on Malawian and SADC commercial law
- Support senior associates on banking and real estate matters
- Manage client files and billing records
Requirements
- LLB; completed training at MILE (Malawi Institute of Legal Education)
- Admitted as Legal Practitioner by the Malawi Law Society
- 0–2 years post-admission experience
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
