AF Mpanga Advocates invites applications from recently qualified advocates for a Junior Associate position in its Corporate and M&A practice. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for early-career lawyers to gain experience in complex corporate transactions under the mentorship of some of Uganda's most accomplished practitioners.

• Assist senior associates and partners in corporate transactions
• Conduct due diligence and prepare due diligence reports
• Draft corporate documents including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and share transfer documentation
• Research corporate law and regulatory requirements
• Prepare company incorporation and registration documents at URSB
• Maintain transaction document management systems

• LLB degree from a recognized university (Upper Second Class or above preferred)
• Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
• Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
• 1-2 years of post-qualification experience or recently completed pupillage
• Strong academic record and keen interest in corporate law
• Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills
