Job Description

Krogerus is seeking a Junior Associate to join our Technology & Intellectual Property practice group in Helsinki. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Lakimies to build expertise in technology transactions, data protection (GDPR), and IP licensing.

You will advise technology companies, startups, and multinational corporations on software agreements, SaaS contracts, and intellectual property strategy. The role includes work on Finnish IP legislation and EU regulations, with exposure to the Market Court (Markkinaoikeus) on IP enforcement matters.

Responsibilities

Draft and review technology agreements including SaaS, licensing, and development contracts. Advise clients on intellectual property protection strategies under Finnish and EU law. Support GDPR compliance projects and data processing agreements. Conduct legal research on emerging technology regulation. Assist with IP enforcement proceedings before the Market Court (Markkinaoikeus).

Requirements

OTM degree from a Finnish university. 1-2 years of experience in technology or IP law, or a strong academic background in the field. Knowledge of Finnish and EU intellectual property legislation. Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements. Fluent in Finnish and English.
