Job Description
Illovo Sugar Malawi is looking for a Legal Assistant to support its legal team at the Limbe head office. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recently admitted legal practitioner or MILE graduate looking to build experience in corporate and agricultural law.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with contract drafting, review and filing
- Conduct legal research on land tenure and employment matters
- Maintain the legal register of agreements and compliance deadlines
- Coordinate with the Registrar General and Lands Registry
Requirements
- LLB; completed MILE training preferred
- 0–2 years experience
- Strong organisational and research skills
