Job Description
MACRA is seeking a Legal Specialist to support the regulation of Malawi's telecommunications and broadcasting sectors. Based in Blantyre, you will handle licensing, spectrum allocation disputes, consumer protection and regulatory enforcement under the Communications Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the Communications Act and licensing framework
- Draft regulatory guidelines, licence conditions and enforcement notices
- Handle disputes between service providers and consumer complaints
- Represent MACRA in administrative proceedings
Requirements
- LLB; admitted by the Malawi Law Society
- 2+ years in regulatory, telecommunications or administrative law
- Strong analytical and drafting skills
