The associate will handle civil, commercial, and administrative litigation before the Supreme Court of the Philippines, the Court of Appeals, and Regional Trial Courts (RTCs) across Metro Manila.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and appellate briefs for filing before Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies
• Conduct legal research on Philippine jurisprudence, statutes, and procedural rules under the Rules of Court
• Appear in court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and mediation proceedings
• Assist in arbitration proceedings under the Philippine Alternative Dispute Resolution Act (RA 9285)
• Handle government contract disputes, election cases, and constitutional litigation matters
• Prepare case strategy memoranda and client advisories on litigation risks

• Member of the Philippine Bar with active IBP membership
• 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably at a reputable Philippine law firm
• Strong knowledge of the Rules of Court, Civil Code of the Philippines, and Revised Penal Code
• Experience in court appearances and oral advocacy before RTCs and appellate courts
• J.D. or LL.B. from a recognized Philippine law school
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Willingness to travel to courts outside Metro Manila as required
